The Morning Glory Project

Alanna McLeod is a founding team member of Reimagine End of Life, a San Francisco-based nonprofit organization that hosts community-driven, citywide festivals exploring death and celebrating life. Having experienced the loss of both of her parents in her early 20s (followed by most of the rest of her small family within a few short years), Alanna is channeling her personal story and empathy into building a movement that shines a light on end-of-life issues, including death, dying, grief, loss, and mortality. In her role with Reimagine, she serves as Director of Community Operations and Strategy and as San Francisco Festival Producer, helping to draw participants into this important conversation around a difficult taboo topic. The mission is not only to support people in preparing for a better end of life, but to encourage them to live as fully as possible while they’re still here.
